Cannabis reform has a rich history in California where a handful of civil rights activists acted in the face of misinformed criminal laws and demand safe access. Every purchase of Full Spectrum Republic products helps us provide free medicinal cannabis to seriously ill (cancer, AIDS) patients & veterans in need. We are committed to empowering organizations and dispensaries dedicated to compassion.
A few of the organizations we work with:
The Brownie Mary Club is the first political party affiliated Cannabis Club in California, and maybe the nation. Club members work within their party to promote the Brownie Mary Club, help get their representatives elected to protect the rights of medical marijuana patients and bring marijuana prohibition to an end.
The problems medical marijuana patients are having obtaining and using medicinal marijuana is totally political. Whether it’s bans, homes being raided, DUIs or children being taken away from their parents, all of these problems are a result of politicians failing to enact any regulations and have instead created an unbridled profusion of unregulated, unlicensed medical marijuana collectives.
Inspired by the gay community’s formation of the Stonewall and Harvey Milk Democratic clubs, a cannabis club with the Riverside County Democratic Central Committee has been formed – the Brownie Mary Democratic Club of Riverside County, named after Mary Jane Rathbun who, when in her late 70s, got the moniker Brownie Mary after she began making marijuana infused brownies and distributing them to AIDS patients in San Francisco hospitals.
CCOF is a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)-accredited organic certifying agency and trade association, located in Santa Cruz, California. Formed in 1973, CCOF was the first organic certification entity in the United States.
CCOF values:
CCOF Organic Principles
Organic standards promote and enhance biodiversity, biological cycles, and soil fertility, and restore, maintain, and enhance ecological harmony. The legacy of organic will be the catalyzation of healthy, sustainable, and humane production systems. CCOF believes that organic standards should continually evolve to address a broadening range of issues, including animal welfare, carbon sequestration, ecosystem protection, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), processing standards, and social justice.
2% for Organic
Simply by choosing CCOF for their organic certification, each CCOF-certified operation gives 2 percent of their certification fees back to the CCOF Foundation. That 2 percent enables the CCOF Foundation to give grants to teachers and students studying organic, provide financial assistance to organic farmers in need, develop education programs for future and prospective organic professionals, and promote consumer education about organic. Our Foundation Members, Business Partners, sponsors, and grantors help fill in the remaining funding necessary to keep advancing organic agriculture.
